9 Months, 4 days and who's counting!
Chris came to work at the Caroline County Public Library, March 23, 1978. She was interviewed by Mr. Sands in an ice storm. My first memory of this library was the glare of Mary Katherine Porter! Little old school teacher look over top of her glasses. In months to come, we discovered that I grew up down the street from her and her SisterAnn and played with her two neices. Mr. Sands asked Chris what she wanted from this job and she replied "A good retirement!"
Not Retired
Chris hasn't retired yet! Soon, but not yet!
Log Cabin
Chris will be making many of these when she retires.
The future!
May 1, 2008, Chris will begin the next phase in her life and hopes to make many quilts and collect her retirement check for a minimum of 30 years!
Technology and My Trusty Singer
This Singer is the highest piece of technology I want to use after May 1, 2008! But now they tell me all of the modern sewing machines have USB & Serial ports for your laptop!
